Did you think there was nothing strange about my staff?
"Well, they were bald, athletic, your wife's away. I just thought you were happy."
It is...ALIIIIIIIIVE!
Is it sad that I completely forgot this blog existed? For so long?
...yes....yes it is.

bad computer karma....
It just figures that after that lovely AT&T guys visiting for the eighth time and finally fixing the internet, not only would my netbook crash suddenly and unexpected (and I wouldn't have a chance to fix it until after the Dallas trip on the 15th), for no apparent reason the desktop suddenly can't connect to the network.
Which jams me up not only with swaps (I'm throwing this comment in there for the lovely swapbot peoples I've just met/am meeting X_X sorry!) but also with my schooling. I'm now rushing to finish my study guides and take my final exam so I can move onto the next course.
Luckily, I've been allowed to steal my mother's laptop for today/the trip. So long as I'm careful and don't breathe on it (who knows? with my luck, it might explode), everything should work out fine.
Emphasis on the word should.
The good news is that the blizzard has officially ended. I braved the un-shoveled driveway yesterday to check the mail and found my books for the next class, then had to take a few minutes and shake all the snow out of my shoes and pant legs once I made it back inside.
At least the internet's not held up for everyone else in the house. Maybe I just have bad computer karma?
